Description
A rotary drum filter for solids removal in recirculating aquaculture. Untreated water flows by gravity into the drum, passes out through fine screens on its surface, and leaves the filter by gravity. Solids are held on the screens.
As solids build up the water level inside the drum rises, which triggers a high-pressure backwash. The trapped solids are flushed into the waste tray and carried away. The frame is stainless steel.
