Gia is the AI agent inside AquaNetica IQ. Gia helps aquaculture professionals explore technical questions, calculations, project information and equipment requirements.
Do I need an account to use IQ?
Yes. Create an AquaNetica account, then sign in to open the IQ assistant and calculators. If you already have an account, use the Sign in to IQ link.
What is included for free?
The Free plan includes 5 AI questions per month and access to all 21 calculators. Pro is US$15 per month for 75 AI questions and 10 file messages; Max is US$39 per month for 300 AI questions and 30 file messages. See the pricing page for plan and billing details.
Can Gia help define aquaculture equipment requirements?
Gia can help you describe equipment requirements inside AquaNetica IQ, then you can request help from AquaNetica with sourcing. Specifications, prices and availability must be confirmed with suppliers. Any AquaNetica sourcing fee is agreed before paid work begins. Learn about equipment procurement.
Can I rely on the answers and calculations?
Use them as a starting point only. AI answers and calculator results may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your system. Independently verify every output and seek advice from a suitably qualified professional before relying on it. IQ does not replace an engineer, veterinarian or other professional.

All 21 calculators are currently available in English and Spanish.
Does AquaNetica store my uploaded files or data?
No. Files uploaded to AquaNetica IQ are held on your device and are only transmitted to our AI provider when needed to answer your question. AquaNetica does not store uploaded files on its servers, add them to the IQ document library, or record their contents in its logs.
Your conversations, projects and saved calculations are currently stored locally in your browser rather than in an AquaNetica account-linked database.
Uploaded files and questions are not used to train AI models.

How do I sign up for AquaNetica IQ?
Create a free AquaNetica account, then sign in at iq.aquanetica.com. An account is required before IQ and its calculators can be used.
How do I change billing or my payment method?
Go to Account → Manage Subscription and open the Stripe billing portal. From there, you can update your payment method, billing details and invoice information. AquaNetica does not store your full card details.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrade: Visit the AquaNetica Pricing page to compare the available plans. If you already have a paid subscription, contact AquaNetica for help changing plans. Self-service plan switching is not currently enabled in the Stripe billing portal.
Downgrade: Go to Account → Manage Subscription to see the subscription-management options currently available to your account. Self-service plan switching is not currently enabled in the Stripe billing portal. To request a downgrade, contact AquaNetica. Any applicable billing changes should be displayed before confirmation.
How do I cancel, and when should I cancel?
Sign in and go to Account → Manage Subscription. Cancellation is handled securely through the Stripe billing portal. If you cancel, your paid subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. Cancel before the renewal date shown there to avoid the next charge. Stripe displays the exact date and confirms cancellation.
How do I manage my AquaNetica subscription?
Sign in to AquaNetica and open Account → Manage Subscription. You’ll be taken securely to our Stripe billing portal, where you can view your current subscription, renewal date, payment method and billing information.
Will I lose access immediately if I cancel?
No. Your paid access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will return to the applicable free level of access unless otherwise stated.
Where can I see my renewal date?
Go to Account → Manage Subscription. Your billing portal will show your active subscription and relevant billing or renewal information.
How does annual billing work?
Pro is US$150 per year and Max is US$390 per year. Annual plans are paid up front; question and file allowances still reset monthly. See the pricing page for current plan details.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Sign in, open Account → Notifications, choose email or push, select the spaces you want (including AquaNetica Feed), and press Save Changes. To stop phone pop-ups, turn off notifications for the AquaNetica PWA in your iPhone or Android notification settings. Push notifications also require the site to be installed as a PWA and permission to be allowed.
Can I rely on IQ answers or calculator results?
Use outputs as a starting point. Check your inputs, units, sources and assumptions, and ask a suitably qualified professional before acting. AI answers and calculations may be wrong, incomplete or outdated; the IQ terms and applicable consumer rights govern use of the service.
