Description
Protein skimmers (foam fractionators) remove dissolved organic compounds, fine suspended solids and surface foam from aquaculture water. In intensive recirculating systems this takes load off the biofilter and helps keep water quality stable.
The WL-EPS range is built for continuous operation in seawater, brackish and freshwater systems. A venturi system and contact chamber produce fine bubbles, which Laswim specifies in the 20 to 80 µm range. Eight sizes cover 10 to 300 m³/h.
