Veolia Water Technologies supplies water treatment for land based aquaculture, built around the Kaldnes RAS and RAS2020 recirculating systems. Deliveries typically cover intake water purification, biological treatment using the proprietary AnoxKaldnes MBBR moving bed biofilm reactor, solids removal with Hydrotech drum filters, oxygenation, CO₂ stripping, pH control, sludge treatment, temperature control and full plant automation with SCADA monitoring. Systems are in service for salmon, trout, kingfish, sea bass, pike perch and turbot, from hatchery through post-smolt and grow-out. Part of Veolia, operating in more than 50 countries.
