Effective date: 31 May 2026
Version: 1.0
This Policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for paid AquaNetica Services. It forms part of the AquaNetica Terms of Service, operated by AquaNetica Pty Ltd of Level 4, 114 William Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia (“AquaNetica”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Paid Services and pricing
Paid Services include AquaNetica membership plans (including AquaIQ Member and Business Member), job board listings, featured listings, supplier subscriptions, sponsored placements, Enterprise accounts and any other Service shown as paid. The price, billing cycle and inclusions for each membership and Service are shown before you purchase and form part of this Policy and the Terms of Service. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclusive of GST unless stated, and GST is added where applicable.
Memberships may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, as described in this Policy.
2. Billing and payment
2.1 You authorise us, and our payment processors, to charge the payment method you provide for all fees and applicable taxes.
2.2 Where a Service renews automatically, we will charge the then current fee for each renewal period unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will give you reasonable notice before any price change takes effect.
2.3 If a payment fails, we may retry, may suspend or downgrade the Service, and may charge another valid payment method connected to your account. You remain responsible for amounts owed.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid Service or turn off automatic renewal at any time through your account or by contacting info@aquanetica.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access to the Service until then, unless we are required to end it sooner.
4. Refunds
4.1 Change of mind. Except where the law requires, fees already paid are non refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the unused part of a current period. We are not required to provide a refund where you have simply changed your mind.
4.2 Your Australian Consumer Law rights. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy, which can include a refund, where a Service is not provided with due care and skill, is not fit for a purpose we agreed, or fails another consumer guarantee. Where a failure is not major, we may choose to fix the problem within a reasonable time rather than refund. Where a failure is major, you may choose a refund or other available remedy.
4.3 How to request. To request a refund under clause 4.2, contact info@aquanetica.com with your account details and a description of the issue. We will assess your request and respond within a reasonable time.
5. Listings and content during a paid period
If we remove a listing or restrict a Service because it breaches our Terms of Service, Marketplace and Supplier Terms, Job Board Policy or Community Guidelines, or any law, you are not entitled to a refund for that removal or restriction, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while we investigate.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is on the platform. Changes do not affect fees already charged.
