BioMar develops and produces feed for the aquaculture industry, covering the full life cycle from larval and starter diets through transfer and grower feeds. Its ranges include LARVIVA, ORBIT for recirculating systems, SmartCare health feeds and the EFICO and POWER grower lines, alongside the BioFarm and BioSustain programmes for farm performance and sustainability reporting. Founded in 1962 by a group of Danish trout farmers as Dansk Ørredfoder, renamed BioMar in 1994, the group now runs 17 feed factories across Norway, Chile, Denmark, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Ecuador, Australia and Costa Rica, supplying more than 90 countries. Headquartered in Aarhus, around 1,850 staff. Listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen, previously wholly owned by Schouw & Co.
